You\u2019re going to be seeing a lot more of this girl!\u00a0 Yesterday, I spent a couple hours shooting Natalie\u2019s headshots.\u00a0 Her parents came with her and I could tell immediately that this was going to be a fun day!\u00a0 Usually, when a teen\u2019s parents come to their session, there’s a tiny bit of apprehension that the parent is going to try and run the shoot.\u00a0 That can be a little tough, because, unless they\u2019re right behind me, they aren\u2019t seeing what I\u2019m seeing.\u00a0 Natalie\u2019s Mom & Dad could not have been more relaxed\u2026.they helped when I needed it ((obviously, natalie\u2019s got a LOT of hair to wrangle, so I asked for Mom when it was necessary \":)\" ) but, otherwise, they hung out, made a few calls, peeked their head in from time to time & were a total joy to have on the set!\u00a0 Actors headshots<\/a><\/strong> can be quite a bit more demanding than shooting something like Senior Pics<\/a> \u2013 mainly, in that the subject has to be looking into camera the entire time.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve never been a model for 2-3 hours straight, then you really don\u2019t know how hard it is.\u00a0 It\u2019s work!\u00a0 and the person in the photos needs to LOVE\u00a0 what they do.\u00a0 AND they need to be talented at it.\u00a0 Simple as that.\u00a0 Anything less, & you get just \u201cso-so\u201d pics.\u00a0 I don\u2019t care how great the photographer is \u2013 the subject needs to have that \u201cit factor\u201d to successfully shoot for several hours.\u00a0 I\u2019ll be posting more pics from Natalie\u2019s session & with all the looks we did, you\u2019ll really get a good idea of how a professional connects with the camera & delivers in shot after shot.\u00a0 Really happy with the way everything came out – especially since this is one of the first few people recommended to shoot with me from Commercial Talent Agency<\/a> – a rep that I only recently connected with.\u00a0 Always fun and exciting to work with a new agent, because everyone has their own preferences & it’s so interesting to hear a new point of view.<\/p>\n
