NEUTRAL MIXED W\/ POP OF COLOR<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cThree Colors + POP\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Pick three colors (one being a neutral)\u00a0 and put together outfits with those colors only.\u00a0 More than three colors can seem a bit busy.\u00a0 Example shows navy blue, white, and pink.\u00a0\u00a0 Neutrals include black, white, gray, khaki, etc.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Add in an unexpected POP of color.\u00a0 The girls\u2019 fuchsia headbands fit the bill.\u00a0 Be aware that this POP will become a focal point in the picture, so I wouldn\u2019t advise adding this color in an area that you don\u2019t want others to look at too closely.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Use your brightest colors as accessories only.\u00a0 You don\u2019t want the brightest colors detracting from the most important part of the picture:\u00a0 the PEOPLE!<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 It is ok to mix solids and simple patterns.\u00a0 SIMPLE patterns add interest and texture to a picture.\u00a0 Dad has a patterned, buttoned-down shirts, and it works just fine with the solid colors.\u00a0 If you stick to a color scheme, everything just naturally blends together.

Example of “Three Colors + POP”:\u00a0 here, the grayish blues are complimented with 2 pops of color:\u00a0 The yellow scarves & the fuschia booties.\u00a0 The guys’ Simple patterned shirts give a nice texture.<\/p>\n

Example of “Three Colors + POP”:\u00a0 Here, the 3 colors are all three “Neutral”, meaning Black, Gray & White.\u00a0 The “Pop” of color in the girl’s sweater is accented by mom’s Red lips.\u00a0 Baby’s plaid shirt & Dad’s plaid tie coordinate for a little texture.<\/p>\n

Choose 1 or 2 solids & pair with 1 or 2 color coordinated patterns.\u00a0 Remember Neutrals, such as gray, khaki & white don’t count \ud83d\ude42<\/h2>\n

All white is definitely the most chosen style of wardrobe for family portraits.\u00a0 You can choose to do all solid white, or add a little texture\/simple pattern to your white wardrobe.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Add a pop of color to your all white outfits.\u00a0 Example below:<\/p>\n

Several “rules” are being broken in the pictures below, but they still came out really great – and have a more candid feel to them.\u00a0 Definitely not “traditional” but not boring or stiff either.<\/p>\n
